Another beautiful senior!! After many days of hand-wringing about whether our session would be rained out, Miss A and I took a chance and boy did it pay off! We couldn’t have asked for better weather: cool breeze, blue sky, and even some puffy clouds. We hit tons of new spots (thanks for trusting me, A!) and I’m so happy with the results. My other senior girls will recognize this sign, I’m sure. I just couldn’t pass by one more time without a picture. I did google it, and apparently it is a vintage ad from the 1930’s. Crazy, huh? I love that this lard-eating family is in such great shape.

I love seeing the reaction from my clients when the receive their Red Berry packages. They joy and sometimes even tears on their faces is so rewarding. It isn’t very often that I feel that, simply because I spent countless hours proofing, editing, and making each image a perfect piece of art for them. So I come to know each photo pretty well.

So, imagine my surprise and overwhelming reaction when I was driving by Walgreens a few months ago and looked up and saw this:

I’ve worked with the Lozano family on several shoots and was extremely flattered when they asked permission to use some of their images in J.M.’s campaign material. How many photographers get the chance to see their work bigger than life??

This song has been going through my head since I came across this amazing antique well bucket today. (It reminds me of the daily conversations I have with my own children, LOL!) I also found an awesome wooden bowl to use with my newborn sessions. I’m so excited that I found these and can’t wait to use them!

In other news, I’ve been contemplating offering some Spring mini-sessions like I did at Christmas. If you would be interested in booking one, leave a comment below. If there are at least 5 families interested, I’ll work on getting a package together and a date picked out. I have a couple of really cool locations in mind, so hopefully we can get this pulled together.

Finally, my calendar is really starting to fill up for March and April, so if you think you will need a newborn session or are a senior who will be graduating in May, now is the time to get on my calendar! Go to the website and fill out the contact form.

I also had the pleasure of photographing Miss E before her presentation this weekend. Her dress had layer after layer of beautiful snow-white tulle and she carried gorgeous bouquet of red roses and evergreens. Lovely!
