This song has been going through my head since I came across this amazing antique well bucket today. (It reminds me of the daily conversations I have with my own children, LOL!) I also found an awesome wooden bowl to use with my newborn sessions. I’m so excited that I found these and can’t wait to use them!

In other news, I’ve been contemplating offering some Spring mini-sessions like I did at Christmas. If you would be interested in booking one, leave a comment below. If there are at least 5 families interested, I’ll work on getting a package together and a date picked out. I have a couple of really cool locations in mind, so hopefully we can get this pulled together.

Finally, my calendar is really starting to fill up for March and April, so if you think you will need a newborn session or are a senior who will be graduating in May, now is the time to get on my calendar! Go to the website and fill out the contact form.

I had the great pleasure of working with this sweet family while they vacationed in Port A recently. I was so excited when I got home and started downloading the images! Mom and I went back and forth for days trying to decide whether to go ahead with the session. Rain, clouds, very chilly temps and gusting wind were predicted and we weren’t sure if those conditions and 4 kids would mix. However, we were all so glad we persevered! These are definitely some bright and cheery winter photos!

Mr. J will surely break some hearts some day:

Mr. S was one of the best 2 year old poser ever!! He loved the camera and the camera definitely loved him!

And who could forget Miss H in “the hat”. I have never seen such a smiley happy baby in such cold weather. She was just a doll!

Miss L was such a pleasure to photograph. She never cried…not even once! A little fuss when she didn’t agree with my creative vision, but that’s it. I attribute it to the fact she has an older brother and sister at home, so she’s pretty used to commotion! Congratulations on your pre-Christmas miracle S family!

How cool is this? Mom harvested this great zebra in Africa.

And this is when I knew the session was over…(He was a GREAT model, though…Mom and I had too many fun ideas and he had had enough of our “creativity”)

I was so happy to meet Mr. D and have such a fun ~~playdate~~, I mean newborn session with him. I knew if he was anything like his sisters, he would be a super cute subject.

Definitely one of my all-time favorite photos!!

When his older sister (she’s only 2!) saw me place him in this basket she said, “Just like Moses!” What a testiment to this family’s faith!
